Who We Are
Keep Argyle Beautiful (KAB) is an organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing our local natural environment through educational and community-based programs. To achieve this purpose, Keep Argyle Beautiful will establish and maintain a continuing litter control program; investigate, study, develop and propose plans to bring about community appearance improvements; promote increased public interest and responsibility in the maintenance of a clean, healthy, beautiful environment; and work with the community to reduce and prevent pollution.
Our History
In 2007, Keep Argyle Beautiful (KAB) was established and became an affiliate of Keep Texas Beautiful (KTB) by setting goals in accordance with Keep Texas Beautiful guidelines and with volunteers committed to developing community pride. Keep Argyle Beautiful is managed by a volunteer board of citizen volunteers and local business owners. Keep Argyle Beautiful became an official 501(c)(3) in February of 2016. Keep Argyle Beautiful continues to support its vision and mission to maintain a clean, healthy, safe, and beautiful environment through education, engagement, and motivation of the citizens by providing special events that support litter prevention, beautification, and waste reduction. These overall environmental efforts make Argyle a destination for everyone to live, work, play, and enjoy their family, friends, and community.
