Bags to Benches

Started in 2019, Keep Argyle Beautiful was inspired by Argyle High School student, Katy Atkins, who was earning her Girl Scout Silver Star Award through collecting plastic film at school and participating in the “Bags to Benches” program. Knowing this program would work community-wide, Keep Argyle Beautiful met with Katy to begin our program. Soon, Keep Argyle Beautiful began earning benches for the Argyle community! There are several drop-off locations within the town, and with the help of community volunteers, there are many new benches placed throughout Argyle.
