Argyle American Flag Program

Starting with a large donation of used American flags to Keep Argyle Beautiful, our organization knew something beautifully patriotic could be done with them. Through several conversations with town staff, Keep Argyle Beautiful and the Town of Argyle Public Works agreed to not only put them up on prominent corners in town, but additional flags were purchased to complete the “look” that was desired. In 2023, several veterans in town engaged in the tradition with help from the Argyle High School football team. This eventually expanded into a tradition of the football athletes assisting Argyle Public Works and Keep Argyle Beautiful to set out American flags for Memorial Day weekend. Keep Argyle Beautiful is deeply thankful for the support from Argyle Public Works for installing the flags during other patriotic holidays.
