Great Argyle Clean-Up

The Great Argyle Cleanup is a critical event within Argyle with the goal of removing roadside litter in multiple locations on one day. This event is typically held in the spring in conjunction with The Great American Cleanup. Keep Argyle Beautiful aims to clean up along major thoroughfares, including FM 1830, U.S. 377, and FM 407. Keep Argyle Beautiful uses volunteer “location captains” who manage small groups to support the cleanup effort along their designated stretch of road. The more captains that volunteer, the more roadsides that can get picked up! Since 2019, students at the University of North Texas (UNT) have annually signed up to help with volunteer efforts in conjunction with The Big Event. For organizations that have Adopt-A-Highway throughout Argyle, we thank you and will actively recruit volunteers to keep your stretch clean!
